Every month, different arts and crafts will be offered, and tutors, professionals, and advanced amateurs will lead the participants in new and fun ways to make the world a brighter and happier place.
Try something new, ask questions and learn while having fun, You have no idea how good you might be at something you have never tried before!
OUR LASTEST SESSIONS
January 2026 - Papercraft Flowers
It was lovely to get back to the Craft Group for the first session of 2026. No less than 12 ladies turned up to be shown by Jean how to make a slightly fiddly paper flower.
There was a bit of muttering and frustration until we managed to master the art. Once we had done that it was interesting to try and glue things together with a glue gun without burning our fingers, but we managed.
The pictures show some of the finished results and many thanks to Jean for being very patient with us all.
February's craft will be something with mosaic's on Saturday 21st at 2pm in the Library.
November 2025 - Christmas Wreaths
Many thanks to Alison for leading us in a wreath making session, we all really enjoyed our afternoon.
It gave us an insight into how tricky things can be. Here are a couple of examples of the finished items.
Also thank you to those who helped to tidy up afterwards, it was a bit of a messy project.
