Our u3a Membership Year runs from 1st May to 30th April the following year.
Annual Membership is £20 per person and gives access to our Monthly Meetings, Groups and Trips.
Members of other u3a’s can become Associate members and pay the reduced rate of £16 per person.
N.B. There are reduced rates when people join later in our year as detailed below:
If you join between 1st December and 28th (or 29th) February membership costs £10 per person.
If you join on or after 1st March your £20 membership will run until 30th April the following year.

- I consent to my data being used for membership purposes and, if appropriate, to the sharing of my name and address data with the company who oversee the distribution of u3a matters* – the Third Age Trust magazine.
- If I opt to authorise Gift Aid then I acknowledge my responsibility to ensure I pay sufficient taxes.
*(When you join Chatteris u3a you have the option of receiving u3a matters - the national u3a magazine. The cost is additional to your subscription and is to cover the mailing of the 5 copies published in a year).
JOIN ONLINE
You can join Chatteris u3a through our on-line system by clicking on the Join Chatteris u3a button below but we strongly recommend that you visit the online joining instructions created by the National u3a (opens in a new browser screen) before starting the new member joining screen. We use the PayPal system for your payment but you DO NOT need to have an account with PayPal to use the system as PayPal will take payment as a guest on behalf of other debit or credit payment cards. Please note that PayPal does try to get you to open a PayPal account but we show you how to avoid opening a PayPal account.
After joining and paying you will receive by email a copy of your Membership Card from Chatteris u3a and a Payment Confirmation email from PayPal.
After joining you will be able to ask questions of and/or request to join any of our Interest Groups. All the groups and their contact details can be found via the Groups button on the Menu Bar at the top of any webpage. Once you have contacted a group your email will receive a reply from that group.
JOIN OFFLINE
As an alternative to joining online, you can choose one of the following methods:
- Download, print off and fill in a Chatteris u3a Membership Application Form which can be sent to our Membership Secretary (Instructions are provided on the form).
- Come along to a Monthly Open Meeting where our Membership Secretary will process your application.
